Herefordshire Youth Council Election Week 2007
Help young people get a better deal in Herefordshire and cast your vote in the Youth Council elections.
Candidates from across the county are standing in Herefordshire Youth Council's annual elections this week from Monday 19th March to Sunday 25th March. Those who are successfully elected will take up the remaining 12 seats on the Youth Council. Another 11 candidates have already sucessfully gained seats on the Youth Council and will not be going forward to the public vote. This is due to lower numbers of candidates coming forward than was required.
A series of nine special 'Making Your Mark' events were held across the county around February half term for interested young people to attend. Candidates then put themselves forward and wrote up their own maifesto for display around the county. If you haven't managed to see them yet you can view the candidate manifestos on the Youth Council wesite.
