What Is The Point In Half Term?

OK, this is just my opinion but how boring has half term become? Seriously there is absolutely nothing to do apart from sitting around all day watching the box. All right, I know we moan all the time that watching TV is exactly what we want to do but it’s different moaning about it and actually doing it. Some lucky people have half term holiday jobs but if you’re not one of the lucky ones what do you do? I think a large percentage of us don’t actually do anything!
I got so bored one day in a recent half term break that I cleaned our house from top to bottom and we actually have a cleaner! I made a mess to clear it up again and actually went looking for mess. I thought I was going crazy, I might be, but some of you guys know me, so I’ll let you be the judge of that!
In my opinion there are only three decent places I can think of in our historically beautiful city that are attractions to people of our age, and they’re not really attractions. They are, as I’m sure you’ve guessed:
· TGS Bowling
· Swimming Baths
· The Cinema
I say we should look to the Youth Council to maybe try and get us some decent facilities to have fun!
