Small Morris grew up in the hard streets of Zimbabwe and moved to a town called gokwe were he lived for 10years. Thats the town he started his career as a rapper. Living in the streets with politics violence, poverty and gang violence, Small Morris started writting lyrics at the age of 13yrs old with his brother Ian who helped him find a crazy rap style. Small Morris moved to the capital of Zimbabwe Harare were he lived in the hood of Warren Park. He lived with his grandmother and cousins when parents were in England. Thats the town he started his hustling and rapping in the streets as his didn't have cash for studio time so he just had to write lyrics and get his music ready.

There wasn't that much of a hiphop movement as there werent any record companies willing to promote hip-hop. He spent the whole year perfecting his rhymes and raping bout the violence that was in the streets of Harare and the hood he was living in.Small Morris moved to Hereford with his family to get a better living and thats were he got a chance to improve his career in the studio and streets.

He started making music at the age of 15, thats when he met with MONKEY NUTS and they formed D.R.C. Both these rappers were hot and started working with a label which dropped them from lack of finance. They didn't stop there, they kept rapping and met NAZTY and started perfoming live at different places locally. They got another deal and recorded Small Morris's first album - mirror @ his graveside which was never released. They started getting radio play and the djs ware loving their music and club djs wanted to hear more from the D.R.C. On the road they met up with METH KILLAH, a producer/rapper.

Now as four hot rappers and a producer they started making more songs and left the label they were signed to because it wasnt helping them in any way. Small Morris started a label Dope Music Company ltd and started making more music and made D.R.C's first mixtape THE DOPE MIXTAPE VOL.1. Small Morris started hustling the mixtape on the road.
