AJack Parton and Myles Gough report on the Youth Times Media Summer School
Myles - The Youth Times Summer School was a great way to use the first week of my summer holidays. The workshops included film making, photography and stop frame animation. The workshop I enjoyed the most was photography as we were able to take images from a wide range of locations.
My photo project consisted of 300 images that were combined to make a stop frame story about randomness. We were taught how to operate the cameras and the sound equipment as well as undertanding how to edit the final project.
Jack - The summer school 2008 was an exellent way to meet new people and experience how you can use media to express yourself. The workshops including the film making, animation and photography were great. I enjoyed animation most because it was a new experience and I leaned a lot from it.
