Marcel and Badarra talk to InSITE about their community agricultural projects in The Gambia

Marcel Badji is one of Concern Universal’s most influential and highest profile community leaders in The Gambia, West Africa. After working for 19 years as a respected high school teacher Marcel was asked to help establish St Joseph’s Family Farm which is now one of the country’s leading community centres. Watch this interview to find out why Marcel is here in the UK, the problems that St Joseph’s Family Farm face and the positive things that they are doing to help the rural community.

Badarra Jobe has dedicated his life to establishing an agricultural training centre in Njawara, located on the North Bank of the River Gambia. The centre trains hundreds of young farmers and transforms many lives.
