Young Poet Laureate for Herefordshire

If the answer is yes, why not apply to become the first Young Poet Laureate for Herefordshire.
How to Apply
• All you have to do is send us 4 of your poems, including one on the theme of Heroes and Heroines
• You must live, or attend a school in Herefordshire
• If you are short-listed, be willing to perform your poems for an audience at The Courtyard in Hereford on 18th June
• You must be 11-19 years old
The winner will be The Young Poet Laureate for Herefordshire for one year and be given the opportunity to perform at the Ledbury Poetry Festival and other events. The winner will have their Heroes and Heroines poem made into a postcard especially for National Poetry Day in October 2009.
