‘Graham and the Goos’

Rural Media Trainee, Toni Hedley writes about producing her animation project

‘Graham and the Goos’ is a stop motion animation film about a man who enjoys gardening. One day he is visited by aliens and left to look after alien babies- the Goos.

Every character and the set are entirely made from modeling clay apart from a few bits and bobs that are made from sweet wrappers. It took me about 4 weeks to create the characters and set and 36 hours to shoot the entire film.

I used a program called ‘I Can Animate’ to capture the footage, and I used ‘iMovie HD’ to edit it. I then used ‘Sound Studio’ and ‘Garage Band’ to create the music and sound effects.

Enjoy!
